Photo Rights

What suppliers confirm
Before a supplier can upload portfolio photographs, they must tick a declaration that they own the photographs or have permission from the copyright holder to upload and publicly display them on QuoteMyEvent. The declaration also confirms they have permission from identifiable people where it is required, and that they will not upload photographs that breach another person's rights. We keep a record of that declaration.
A supplier can show up to 10 photographs on their profile. Portfolio photographs are public.
Reporting a photograph
- If you are signed in, you can report a photograph on a supplier's profile. If you are signed out, you will be asked to sign in first and then taken to the report form.
- Choose a reason, such as copyright or a stolen photograph, and describe your concern.
- You cannot report your own photographs. While an earlier report of yours about the same photograph is still being reviewed, you cannot send another. There is a limit of 10 reports in any 24 hours.
What happens next
- An administrator reviews the report and records the outcome and the reason.
- A report does not automatically remove a photograph or lead to a strike or suspension. We look at the evidence first.
